Thanks everyone:). Doing the simple swirls and loop de loops is soooo relaxing. I just get in a rhythm and hum, literally hum, along! You will get there SBG.

All in good time QNS...remember one has to take care of themselves in order to care for others. Looks like it could rain after a lovely day stuck inside. Should go check my asparagus...we may have some for supper!

I have decided that I am no longer gonna set unreasonable goals for myself. I am not gonna go to paint till after I have had lunch & am gonna come home at 5 every day. What gets done is what gets done. DM's house will get painted all in good time.

We've had a lot of rain lately. A nice time to stay in and sew-- but I have to go to work. Oh! I'm plugging along on my 9patches from the recent swap. I'm sewing 'Sister's Choice' and loving the pattern. It's so pleasant to me to sew the same block pattern over and over, yet each one so different with it's different fabrics. It's a nice change from doing a sampler type top.

One of the things I like about the 9P is how much you can do with it. Nicely done, givio.

Nicely done, Givio. Another version of the nine patch. Beautiful.

Sun is shining. DH is about 60% done fencing for the incoming and on site fowl. Four oldest hens are in the Hen Pen and enjoying every moment of it. Ten little ducks are happy in their former pen in the garage where they can see what is going on, who comes in and out of the double doors. They have doubled in size every week. At three or four weeks, they will be going outside. This next week, 15 more chicks are arrivaling.

QR is nicely organized; except now I need that left over fabric from Classic Twist that is on the vertical board. Sure its in a safe place, if I only knew where. UFOs are all there. Bible Sampler fabric has been pre-cut into strips and they are there. Now on Prednisone for 5 days to cure this ear/sinus swelling; hoping that it does. Wonder what Dr does next if it does not. One step at a time.

Hoping the prednisone does the trick for you, Sue.

I've been playing on the longarm for a couple of hours. Came down to eat and then I'm going back upstairs. I learn something new every time I use it. And my freehand is starting to look a bit more under control... most of the time! I still need lots of practice.

Practice makes perfect LA Quilts I am told. Of course, you probably will get better every time you start out again.

You and OK too. Have fun with your LAs.

We are in Midland. #1DSon (at age 33) graduated from Midland Collage w/an Associate of Science degree tonight. It is actually Pre-med. He will go to N Texas University next year & to the medical school the following years. These are located in the DFW area. He received $5500 in scholarships tonight! :)
