I also spent some time outside pruning the raspberries and cleaning up the asparagus patch. I'm ready for spring and today was perfect for a little early work. Oh and DH was informed of the new sewing machine last night when he rang from work, he can't yell at me over the phone:D:D remember, cause I cry:p I then quickly changed the subject and asked him if he had received his new fishing line that one of his work colleagues was ordering for him Sneaky I know

What a day I had!!! I sure love comin' here in the virtual RV. Sittin' around & swappin' stories , sharrin' our lives, drinkin' tea or coffee, & who's got the marshmallows????? We've got so much agoin' on! Thanks for the respite.

I just love hearin' about everybodie's PC quilts goin' tagether. How wonderful!
DH & I spent a lotta time crunchin' #'s taday. Then I took #2 DS ta the eye Dr. After I got home My DSis came over test drivin' a SUV. So DH & I went & helped her make a deal on it. (Well not that one, but one in better shape.) This was DH's Day off. LOL
Well I also worked a bit on my MB. When it was done I realized that I had scorched some o' the starch so I hand-washed it, ever so gentle. It shrank!!!! It is now 12 3/8"!!! I guess I'm gonna put a border on it. I have made this block before & it should have only taken 2 evenin's. Tamarrow it will be day 5!!! I wanted it ta be oh so perfect!! LOL At least I'm learnin' a lot!!:)

Pineapple was done according to the instructions that GG gave to us. Not so good was seeing 50% of what I was supposed to be doing. The first one I posted here, was not quite 12.5 inches square, so I made another one, watching closely to do a ''scan" 1/2 inch...it was better but not as big as it should have been. Hope GG can make them work for her. I also sent extra fabric of each, so she can do some her way, which is probably better than my sincere tries.

Yes, sitting in the virtual RV with pleasant company is very nice to imagine right now.

I have one more block to quilt I'm nearly there..

Bev it was quilt as you go, I keep all my strings in a box and when it is overflowing I make these blocks. quick and do they do use up a lot of scraps..

Time to cook dinner and if there is no good movie on tv tonight I will finish that last block and then onto the borders tomorrow. That gives me 5 days to finish the quilting, sew the binding on and do the hand sewing...I think I can I think I can I think I can.... I need a cheer squad:D
