Thanks for putting this together, how are you appliquing yours,

I did that once to, and decided to alternate using the back as well as the front, giving it a different look. Worked out fine .

I often turn the fabric when using tone on tone, it gives a subtle effect.the. reverse applique block was done that way.

Well, I finished the block -- 15 hours! It is all machine appliqued. I decide to go thoroughly modern! Used gold metallic thread on the center of the flowers. Most of the rest was done in matching threads. If I knew how I would "quilt as you go"!

All the other pics are just gorgeous! Good work everyone -- and isn't this fun! Mine seems a little drab in comparison, but I like it. Can't wait for the 8th of March! Thanks for doing this!

Very nicely done indeed. Hey Dee (Dream56) I don't see your picture up here yet....how about a progress update?

For those of you who didn't know, I was partnered with Dream56 in a swap. She made me the most wonderful and gorgeous tote bag and we got to know each other. of course that means I get to bug her now that she's here too. (grins) She kept me on my progress updates (as well as ConnieQuilts) so now it's my turn to keep track of her updates.
