What hand applique method are you using? I'm lazy, can't wait to sew, I make plastic templates and needle turn. Freezer paper works great, I just donn't have patience for all the prep. Raw edge machine is great if you want to get done quickly. See my quilt in photos (my design I love oriental) that quilt was all raw edge. |

It's officially official. Finished my first leaf on the center square (January BOM). Yes, I'm way behind but now that I've started I won't let myself stop until I finish it. I also dug in my heels and decided to do needle turn --- which will take me even longer. Oh well, I'm not in a hurry.

oh Jeesh! I just discovered that I've been appliqueing on the back of the fabric. On the other hand, I guess that if *I* just discovered it nobody else really notice. So I just have to remember now that all applique HAS to be done on the back of the fabric. LOL Time for me to get to bed.
