All of your blocks are beautiful. Great job everyone.

I think the WD40 work best on a fresh burn. If its already sore, blistered, etc, it might not work as well. Still it wouldn't hurt to try it. I hope your hand feels better soon.

A wobble here and there just goes to show it is a hand-made, one of a kind, not mass produced item. I like your style!

I'm doing my applique by machine so I'm not having that "layer" problems that some are having with the hand applique. The center ended up with a little irregular shape but I guess that will add the the charm of my block, right?

Very nice FZS! You will be caught up in no time. Pretty block.

This is my photo of both size Patrick's Spotlight blocks. There isn't much to say about making the 12.5" one this time. Increase the foundation block to 12.5" instead of 6.5", and be sure when you up-size the templates that they truly are 200%. (I discovered that not all programs increase the size in correct proportion. I have good luck with running the online templates through Adobe Photo Elements to print at 200% correctly. Straight from the internet to the printer, 200% isn't the correct size on my computer.

When up-sizing to a 12.5" block, I am having a lot of fabric waste when using a full size foundation. However, those cut out scraps are big enough to use in another project. In the 6.5" blocks, the waste seems miniscule in comparison!

Very pretty Jupiter! My favorite is the big block - love those fabrics together!

I love the fabric combinations that are coming together in everyone's blocks. It gives a different look to each one.

Jupiter - now that you have done both 12 and 6 inch blocks, is the larger size easier to work with using the templates or not?

Here's my block for this week.
