I love your block Diana, the black just really sets it off! I think this is an amazing collection of quilts developing. We should have some nice quilts come January. I am so sorry about your Mom, Jean. My prayers are with you and your family Your colors look so good together!

August is just around the corner, then we are 2/3 of the way finished, The waiting is not my strong suit, I think I have learned just as much with it as I have with the quilting~

Thanks Marybeth..Except for all the scabs coming off her forehead/eye, she still sleeps an awfully lot, but is eating, as I insist she does. She's always been so healthy, and at 94 this has really set her back! Thanks for the prayers.

That is really pretty Diana, I love how the star shape really shows up with the black and is then echoed by the other small floral prints.
