Perhaps this list needs a seperate heading so it doesn't keep getting buried here with all our wonderful words of wisdom.

I like that pattern. Hope its not as complicated as it looks. But a block of the month would be cool. I'm in the not so many rules category as well. Would be interested in giving some block swaping a try! Sound like the perfect motivator to turn inspiration into creation :) .

where would one pick up a $10.00 digital camera? I could afford that! In case I NEVER FIGURE OUT MY $350.00 WINDOWS MOBILE THAT IS ONLY COLLECTING DUST. and seems to have more bugs than VW dealership.
When I think of the great camera/scanner/printer I could have gotten :? (oh well) So do we have a color scheme or is it a free- for-all in that dept. and how soon are we to have this completed. Oh. and how many trades are we allowed? any other parameters.? Great pattern, looks quick!

You can make the block any color you want. And you have as long as you want to do the block but we try to have it finished by the end of the month it is posted for. And as for trades. That is up to you and whom ever wants to trade with you we don't have that as a part of our BOTM at least not yet and I don't think any of us wanted it.
Happy quilting,
Misty :)

Remember, we all took closeup pictures of our blocks so they do look larger than real. My block measures 12 1/2 inches unfinished. The 1/4" seam is included in the cutting directions.
Just take your time while you're learning to use that rotary cutter and ruler. In no time at all you'll be whacking out these blocks with the best of us. It just takes practice. Measure twice and cut once. Improving and/or practicing our skills is one of the goals of this block of the month project. Relax and have fun with it.
