Beautiful block Honchey! I love your flower fabric!

Patricia, lovely! I wasn't sure about a white or light colored background but yours is great! Have a save trip!

dublb, thanks

Anne, what a pretty block; love the fabric you've chosen and the fussy cutting adds dimension to the star.

PF, love that you show both size blocks together and they're so pretty.

Love starting my morning looking at such pretties---now, off to work.

Here are my second week blocks. The green was my fabric choice, the purpley blue was the OTL. There isn't quite enough contrast, but the pattern matched a tie he wore when he came to take me to the opening dinner of the college. I love seeing all of the blocks!!!!!!!

Marne, the contrast is in the design of the fabric, not the color. And I LOVE purple
I think both blocks are beautiful! He doesn't sew his own blocks, does he?

Hi Everyone

All the block are looking good, I am still interest in see how the different fabrics make the patterns look different.

Here is my 2nd block

I think I'm going to have to add a few colors to my blocks....I'm thinking soft yellow & lavender for the blocks that need more. I will be using an aqua green for the sashing. I'm just thinking out loud...I have to get a few more pieced before I decide...Thank's for all the compliments...All the blocks are so pretty...Honchey
