Thanks lin!!! All this encouragement is making me want to move the girls off the table so I can do another one!!! (They're deeply involved in jigsaw puzzles at the moment)

Sounds like you're going to have to find a different place for the girls to do their puzzles. :D But making them move in the middle of one would just be down-right mean.

I can see why you want to jump right to another one though. It's fun when you work so hard and get it so right!!!! :)

That's remarkable for a first block - you're going to be a real pro at this very soon.

    Thanks everyone!!!

I didn't make the girls leave the table...but I did scoot them down to the other end. I have another one cut out...gonna sew it up tonight after they're in bed :-) We had to take a puzzle and cutting break after dinner though; had to do the short one's home project for her headstart class...this month our project was to make a spider.

Steve, not sure if its correct or not, but I figured if I frame 'em while I go it will save time later on. Thanks for the for the beans...cool ones are my favorite :D

Well, I'm getting caught up on the BOM since I almost finished a baby quilt for a friend. The shower was last weekend but I have it back to finish hand sewing the binding. Also have the BOM for guild tomorrow night so had to make up a sample.

Here is my BB. I really enjoyed seeing everyone's color choices. It is very educational for my as a novice. Everyone's blocks are amazing. This is a good one to practice points. But the pink floral is something from a scrap bag, not 100% cotton and very stretchy. So I gave up and the points are as good as I'm willing to work on.

Next weekend will be the churn dash and maybe go back to try Tim's compass.

very nice like the colors. and the points are good. I think you can take yourself out of the novice catagory. Doing these BOM's has sure helped me alot
