I finally had a chance to get my last couple blocks put together- so, here they are (the 2 for February & then march) and all 12 laid out- as soon as I took the picture my 'darling cat' went in & had a hay-day scattering them all over the room- he either really likes them- or has simply lost his mind!
anyhow-
here they are.
i'm undecided if i'm going to do something more- to make this larger- since my rooms are all packed up for construction I have some time to 'ponder' what to do from here.

How beautiful your set of SYE is....first one I have seen complete. Love your colors and piecing the the whole set. I am short four blocks...time is too busy but I will push on until I finish all the squares.

What a beautiful selection of blocks ckcowl, love your setting fabric.
Here is my last block and my completed top, the border fabric is a larger version of the fabric I used in each block. I was unable to mitre the corners as I was about 6 inches short. Will make a start on the quilting in the next few weeks

oh, Mirabel-- I love your quilt top! I love the sashings with the squares- that is a wonderful idea! how large did your quilt wind up being? I've been 'pondering' how to make mine larger & put it together- I sure like how you came up with a final-- I do not have enough of the blue setting triangle fabric for a border- but probably have enough for sashing strips-
I love how each of our sets of blocks are so different- yours is so fresh looking.

Mirabelle, beautiful job on your top. Wow. It does have that "WOW" factor that you are so very good at producing on your quilt tops. I am four short on the total number and will be for awhile. Very tempting Bus Trip with shop at Creston, Iowa, that goes to Holton, Kansas....Quilting on the Square...April 25 and 26. covers MO., KA., NE., and Iowa.

That is just gorgeous Mirabelle! I like that you added the sashing strips and cornerstones! The orange border really makes the blocks "pop"! I am in love with the final border fabric - just wonderful. I am with QNS, except further behind, I only have half of them done!

I've been trying to post a couple of times today and QB won't let me--I hope it works this time. Ckcowl & Mirab you're quilts are awesome.
I like how they're posted back-to-back to show how different the blocks look with different colors. Great job, ladies.
