It is amazing that the same pattern was used on all these blocks but each one is so unique. Not sure I could say which one is my favorite. I hope I can find time to join in on this.

I really like the same color o' your settin' triangles bein' in the actual block. It is so unitin'.

Oh! ckcowl I'm in love w/the blue & how it accents your block!

I just love how ya always choose a main fabric. Is there any roses in that triangle fabric? Your block is just awesome!

Here is my 1st block have not added the sides to make it a rectangle as not sure what color I want to use may wait till the end to make a decision on that part. Sticking with the suggested colors at this point the really dark color is actually purple but at least on my monitor it looks almost dark blue or even black.

    This block just shines.

I'll be using the same background fabric, and the same green fabric for the "leaf" part in all the blocks. As you can see I changed the color between each of the flowers to the leaf fabric to look like stems. I fussy cut medallions for the center of the flower. Fussy cutting is not so much fun when paper piecing!!
Such movement in your block! I can't take my eyes off o' it.

Here's my first block. Can you believe I created an inset seam for myself. Sometimes I TRY to make my life harder. You can bet I won't do that again.

Anyway, I tested it with my dinner plates and it should be the perfect size without adding anymore to the edges other than the binding, which I will do in black. I usually bite off more than I can chew, so this is really fun making something manageable! Can't wait to do my next placemat.
