Well, I think I have the blocks placed in the most balanced way possible. I need one more block. It's always the hardest picking that last block. I have all the sashing strips and cornerstones all cut and ready to go. Teen, even one of your blocks made it into this quilt. Although, it was from the Summertime II Swap. I thought it would be perfect in this quilt. And, sure enough, it is the only paperpieced block and the perfect color in the perfect spot.

That looks great, Judith...and I see my block.. Al the blocks look great. Will be a wonderful quilt for a hero. I'm cutting out a QOV this week in between housework so we both have our thoughts on warriors this week.

It's so hard to not keep working on these blocks. I think I'm down to the last 13. But I really do need to go to work on the quilting for my Gd's quilt on the frame. 3 more the last couple days. I10 Rocky Road to Dublin, M9 King David's Crown, and M7 New Mexico.

These are so beautiful, auntjo. I should have paid you to make my New Mexico block. Lol!! Yours is fantastic....mine sucks and I didn't have the energy to redo that one. You are on the home stretch...woohoo!!

It was and is an awful block and sits proudly in my quilt. My eye is constantly drawn to it. Lol.. I refuse to post another picture of it. It's on the thread somewhere. If I recall, I boycotted my machine for 2 days and made a pitcher of Margaritas that night. That is how traumatizing that block was.....lol..
