I'm going to make a basket from a pattern called Knotty Baskets by Aunties Two Patterns. My fabric is ready to start.

Wow! I haven't check in on this thread in quite a while. All the blocks are BEAUTIFUL! Makes me want to get myself in gear and finish up mine. All my blocks are done and sewn into long strips. Just need to sew together horizontally. I used white for sashing as well as the background fabric. Now I wish I had used another color for the sashing. Oh well, I will love it when it is done. Just can't figure out how to quilt it. SITD would take as long as piecing the blocks! What are your plans for quilting?

AlvaStitcher, please show us your Sylvia! Mine only need borders and I still don't know how to quilt it. I thought about hand quilting but I'm not sure.

Here is picture of my blocks. They are connected in long rows but the long rows are not sewn together yet. They look wonky because they are laid out on the floor in the sewing room. No design wall yet. I love the way the bright colors pop on this quilt. I made most of the blocks using fabric from my stash. I think I bought only the background fabric. I had on every light possible in the room but it still looks shady. LOL
