of course, and everyone can make one from scraps. the pattern can be used many times because you do not sew through it....it is freezer paper and is ironed to the right side of the fabric and just peels off. so whats for dessert?

i spritzed it and pressed it and the seams almost dissapear

Kuchen was on sale at the grocery store today. Don't know if all you "southern" ladies know what it is, but it is German and WONDERFUL. Bought a raspberry one. So I will share.

kuntryquilter, here in ND you can get it in most grocery stores. It is good, isn't it!!! The store I was in today must have had more than a dozen different varieties.

CajunBear, love the block. It is great so far.
Everose - holiday version looks good. I'm thinking there are going to be a lot of holday versions of this mystery. Hmmm, I have Easter fabrics as well as the Halloween. Later, no time now.
SunlitenSmiles - I have the same book and have looked through it but haven't tried anything yet. I think I'll look again.

kuntryquilter, yes, ND has a lot of Germans. Great food, (meat, potatoes and great for the hips) kind of things. Where in ND was hubby from?

I'm dying for a nice slice of red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting.
