That is too funny. When I was 57 and my husband was 65, the kids at the movies always gave us the senior discounts. We just smiled and took it. $5.00 as opposed to $7.50! Can't even buy a bag of popcorn, but hey, every bit helps.

OH! How I can relate to that. When I was around 50 my DH & I ran to the store. We had a off white Camero. I ran into the store just for a minuet & when I came out, I started to get into a Red Camero, on the other side of the parking lot, none the less. I had my left leg in & ready to sit down when I noticed a strange man sitting in the driver seat. Then realized what I had done. I jumped out & said sorry. The stranger said that is ok mam. Then went to our car just laughing up a storm. My DH said he was wondering what the heck I was doing. He watched me all the way & didn't even yell at me when he saw I was going the wrong way in the parking lot. Now how in the heck do you mix up an off white car for a red one & on the other side of a parking lot at that????? How does that happen????? DH still teases me about that one. I have done a few other things just as silly, but won't go into that now.

Thank you for the great laugh even tho I am a Sr. Citizen and proud of it. Years ago my son-in-law received a Sr. Discount when he was only 28 and my son use to recieve on in his early twenties because he lost his hair at a young age and they thought he was a Sr. because he was losing the hair.
