Nancia: Just great clothes. Every time I see the great hand made 18" doll clothes you make I want to go back to playing with dolls.

Can you point me to some (preferably free) patterns for the 18" dolls? My dgd just got into them.

Way back when I made an adorable dress for an 18" doll and vowed I'd never do it again. It was like doing a child's dress in miniature and I'm not very good at miniature sewing. Are there easier patterns out there today? BTW, I still have that dress I made somewhere in my attic, couldn't part with it after putting all that work into it. LOL I actually planned on framing it but never got that far. LOL I'd have given it to my then very young DGD but she loved all things boy so didn't play with dolls. Now she's a 17 year old very girlie girl. Maybe she'd like a collection of dolls now, who knows?

Yes, anything written by Joan Hinds is simplified. I have two of her books and I really like her style. Much easier than sewing a miniature girl's dress for a doll.

This is one of her books. There is even a video of it on Nancy's site. http://www.nancysnotions.com/product...lothes+book.do

Great job on the doll clothes. I have never had a granddaughter that liked dolls so never have had a chance to make the cute clothes.

nancia love the fabric you used to make he dolls. I also love Halloween. Feel free to make me a table runner out of that fabric.LOL The dresses are beautiful and your granddaughters will love them.

Nanci,
Have you found "Liberty Jane Creations" ? Tons of patterns for OUR AGD. I love mine and the children that I help to learn to sew and create clothing. No, no little ones live in this house unless you can count Caitlyn and her baby friends. I just love making the clothes, shoes and capes for Twirls for girls as donation.
Than you for sharing the bootiful dresses.
