I have a nine year old granddaughter and a six year old great granddaughter who both want 18 inch dolls and clothes for them. You inspire me to get busy and make some clothes. Thanks for the inspiration.

Where did y get the patterns for these? My great granddaughter will be getting the American girl Doll for Christmas and I would like to begin making the clothes now.

Check Google for "American Girl" doll clothes. I have a whole folder full of patterns to be made next year for my DGD who is 5 years old. I am not comfortable printing the company and it's address, but they have lots of patterns and packs of fabric at a nominal cost. They also show you how to make shoes. I am on their mailing list. Good luck hunting. If I found it, it must be easy to find. lol. "American Girl" just opened a store about 30 minutes from my house. So excited.

You can buy patterns for 18 inch dolls from JoAnn. Just wait for them to go on sale. McCall/ Simplicity etc.
