14 1/2 years and counting, I dont regret that day and doubt I ever will. He is my better half for sure. There isn't a day that goes by that I dont remind myself how lucky I am to have him in my life. I worked hard to not scare him away and it pays off every day.

23 1/2 of the best years of my life! Had I stayed married to my first husband, would have been 38 years. Like I said, the best 23 years of my life!

Apparently I became too busy with educational and career pursuits to worry about marrying, but always enjoyed the presence of men at work and socially. Then, at 35, within a year of some long-distance travel/exchanges, we married where he was starting a career change (happened to be in the state of my birth), then we transferred west again, and I have had no regrets or concerns as we reach 42 years, at age 78. Past engagements apparently taught us both what we really needed and wanted---and we still talk about those people involved!
