We had that the other night. Woke me up and I gave some serious thought to moving into the living room area of this old cottage because the addition with the bedroom is so poorly done. The living room has 14" thick brick walls on three and a half sides and has been here over 200 years, LOL! Makes me feel MUCH safer.

Got thunderstorms and rain right now, sigh.

Stay safe Jan....

Glad you are ok and no damage. Poor babies. Hope you don't have any more bad weather.

Have your roof checked by a professional. we had a bad hail storm a couple of years ago & our entire area needed new roofs because of the damage. Good luck

Gosh those would hurt if they hit you. Hope all are well. My older doxie was shaking so hard before the
storm came and especially during that he shook the bed. His teeth even chattered.
Glad you came through all right.

Grinster, I have never heard of thunder shirts. My Rotties live in the house with me. I'll have to do a search for these shirts.

That was my Rotties you heard and me telling them it wasn't a war zone but just a storm. This was their first hail storm. Some of the hail was the size of dimes.

I did a search on the thunder shirts, I wish i had known about this before my ol rottie Harley died and my boarder collie Shad, they where both very scared of storms. My german rotties I have now are not scared just aleart to any noise. And man was there noise it sounded like a war zone. They where clam as soon as I let them know all was well.
