I've got so many from the early 50's, and some from the 40's,like the Andrew Sisters,Glenn Miller,Benny Goodman.,etc.I know my kids will toss them, but I just can't make myself do that.
My aunt LOOOVED the Inkspots! What a nice memory you just gave me!

My brother collected 45 records. When he passed he had over 3000 collected! He would put them on tapes and give the tapes away. Many of them had the 'scratch, scratch' sound because of the wear and in the 50's they weren't done in stereo.... There are people out there that collect these and pay top dollar. I know he told me of one person that gave him $25.00 for one that was one of the first sold.
So all of you that have these things start looking for a buyer 'cause they are out there. It is a part of history and so much fun.

I have a lot of 45's and I have approximately 1,000 LP's. I still love to play them occasionally. Lots of Elvis and other artists from the 50's. I have recorded some to CD's but I just don't have a lot of time to do this anymore. I love my albums though and won't ever get rid of them. My kids grew up on this music and love it almost as much as I do, so I don't think they'll toss them.
