Whether it's quilt shopping (or browsing) or just regular shopping I also like to go off by myself. It seems when someone is with me, I buy more and then when I get home, it's "what was I thinking". It seems I am swayed by what another's say, etc. Then when we meet for lunch we share our finds. Fun.

What a wonderful trip to anticipate! Nothing better than a compatible friend with some flexibility in differences.

You'll have a wonderful time. A friend and I are leaving next Monday to go to Sisters. We plan on staying a couple of nights in Grants Pass so we can go to Jordan Fabrics and do a jetboat trip, then staying at Eagle Crest for 3 nights and seeing the quilt show. Another friend is flying into Redmond from Seattle. I can't wait. The Sisters quilt show is so much fun. Is anyone planning a meet and greet?

I am game for a meet and greet of QB members..We will be staying in a college dorm Saturday and Sunday night leaving at 2pm on Sunday. Bear...yes.not sharing a bed!!! We also go to the same church so we have been friends for a long time and we were co-workers at a quilt store that I managed before I retired, that is why we got to go to quilt market. I also long arm quilt her quilts.

The Sisters show is so much fun, I went a few years ago and spent the entire day there saw some beautiful quilts spent to much money but will always remember this trip.

I am just the opposite, I want to shop and admire the quilts with my friends and share the experience at the moment . I feel when we are together (there are 4 of us that do shows and retreats together) we have more fun sharing what we are doing rather than trying to describe something later. Every one has their own way of doing things and that makes the world a better place. Enjoy !!

One of the reasons I am taking this bus trip is the opportunity came and I can still walk without too much effort. My hip is beginning to give me problems and at 77 yrs I think that it is arthritis setting in...do what you can, while you can. Taking shoes and sandals.
