Default 5 day bus trip

I am excited to be going on a 5 day bus trip to Sisters Oregon. Have been wanting to before but had not had the opportunity to do so. Most are members of our local quilting guild and I will be partnering with a friend/quilting buddy, this means sharing sleeping rooms.

She and I have traveled to Houston Quilt Market and also the Portland Market several years ago and also have shared rooms at quilt retreats. There are some differences that we have...she likes pitch dark, and I like some light, she likes to sleep early and I am a night owl, but these are little things that will not dampen my joy. Another good thing is that we are both able to go off on our own...not joinend at the hip..then we get together for lunch and catch up on what we have seen.

So I am looking forward to have a good time...

Wow!! Is it that time of year already? I live about an hour away south of Sisters. I tried to go to the quilt show many years ago and the traffic just turned me off from ever going again.

Have fun, dress cool and make sure you drink plenty of liquids.

Maybe I'll see you there. I'm driving up to Oregon to visit friends and go to the show.

Sounds like fun - If you have two beds in the room, it is a lot more doable than if you are sharing a bed.

Have a wonderful time. I love looking at the pictures of the quilts hung all over town. So much fun. Safe travels.

Have a great time! Sounds like you and your roomie have a perfect tolerance for each other. I too love to wander a show by myself and meet for lunches ect. That makes for a wonderful trip. Enjoy!
