Oh a helpful hint with can goods is to write the date purchased on the cans and boxes and you will know what to use up first!

That's a neat idea, I think I'll do that with some very, very deep storage areas in my kitchen. At my age it's no fun to crawl around under there, so think that I'll make something like this, wider and with sides and put rollers on the bottom, like a drawer. I can find rollers that have flat bottoms and can be attached with 4 screws. And when I yank them out of the bottom of the cupboards, they will fall 2 inches to the floor and bring all the stuff to the front so
I can see it easier.
Thanks for the idea, I've just been griping about these far too long and not doing a darn thing about them. Plus, I still have a lot of my late DH's wood stored away, needs to be used.
