My entertainment for the afternoon was watching the city plow truck get stuck in the snow on my street. Usually those union boys dont shovel too quickly but there were three men and they were ALL actually shoveling at the same time! I feel better about my tax dollars knowing they are getting paid double time.

Im in Woodstock, far, far NW, and we got about 18-19 inches.

Some people have gotten the power back...only 30,000 left without power at 5pm the next night.

We got about 18-19i inches too, no power outage here so we really did do well thru this storm. We had trouble getting the backdoor open to let the dogs out cause of all the snow! Poor dogs they were really confused until my husband got a path cleared for them to do their business. LOL
