I tried and I did succeed, but had a TON of problems with it because of the Microsoft servers here at the office. They didn't play well together so I uninstalled Firefox.

Google can track where you are going and put cookies on your computer so they can target adds to you. I have Firefox and on other sites I get ads for places in South Dakota. I just get the one ad on the bottom of the page here and it is for Google. When I do a search I use startpage.com. They do not record your IP address so Google cannot track through them.

I've noticed that too, especially the ones about high heels. Because of a weak ankle broken many years ago, I wear cowboy lace up ropers.

After remarking on that once on this forum, I instantly started getting ads for cowboy boots and clothing. And some for high heels!!!

Very clever stuff here on the Internet. Have to be careful what you say online.
