My husband was in the service before we were married. Can't imagine him having to leave a wife and family behind. Think
of our military men every day when I put up my flag!!!

Hopefully he'll be home soon.

Obama is supposed to speak tonight on TV about bringing home thousands from Afghanistan... Thank the Lord for this and for the wonderful jobs ALL the armed services are providing.

I understand your pain. My prayers are with you and your family while those 200 days go by (quickly, I hope). Thank you for you and your family's sacrifice. The families sacrifice as much as the soldier.

I sure understand how you're feelling. We did 20 yrs. in the Navy & 10 yrs. were done during the Viet Nam war. Out of that 10 yrs. he was gone a total of 7 yrs. Our carrier was the first involved when that war broke out.

Our ship was gone 10-11 months at a time. That's a whole lifetime for sm. kids. Trust me, it will all come to an end though it sure doesn't feel like it.

Just try to stay busy.
