DH and I are done shopping. Wallyworld was open in our backyard and not busy. Went in got the gift cards and C-mas cards. 2 hours later the last one was in the envelope and stamped. Will be in the mail and on their way tomorrow. For the 2 youngest ones,, who wanted to sew, I sent sewing kits. Their dad knows how to sew. So when they have their time with him he will do his best. Dad's landlord has a small sewing machine (not a fw) the girls can learn from and practice. I learned that just the other day. Landlord has manual and everything. Was his mother's. Didn't know when I was up there he "fandangled" as he calls it his own kitchen curtains. But Cmas shopping done.

I worked at the Mall for 20 years and mandatory to work on Black Friday !!!! I swore that after I retired I would NEVER again be at a MALL on Black Friday and so far I have stuck to that and it has been 12 years. Had a Big lunch for Thanksgiving now a night of football then rest. Hugs

Will be on the selling side of the counter tomorrow at the stained glass booth (not my artistry - I'm but a minion). Final weekend of the Texas Renaissance Festival. If people are going to shop. . .they might as well get unique handcrafted gifts that aren't in any mall. . .

[QUOTE=yngldy;6428683]BLACK FRIDAY:
Because only in America, people trample others for sales exactly one day after being thankful for what they already have! QUOTE]
Amen! I never go out on Black Friday - or now Brown Thursday. Too crazy for me.
