I lost my Dear Foster MOther 2 weeks ago tomorrow

I am so sorry for your loss. A mother is one who raises her children to be more giving than herself. I will pray for you. I too love this board.

Sorry for your loss. My mother died in 1997 and I still miss her, although I'm not grieving any longer. Still, I wish she were alive to see my quilts. I only learned to quilt 2 1/2 years ago. Her mother was a quilter and my mother was an excellent seamstress. She made my wedding dress. I often wish I could make a quilt for her. One of these days I will, even if I can't give it to her. I'll find someone else to give it to, and only I will know it is a gift to my mom. I feel the same way about my MIL who died in 1999. We were very close too.

What a wonderful story - sad but I am sure Sandy is looking down on you everyday with love.
