Sweet - I always wanted a wood burning cook stove like this, setteled for a utilitarian type wood stove to heat the house, but it had a nice flat top to put a pot of stew on to cook for dinner! Not that I'm old, just loved the back to earth aspect of doing things this way. Favorite magazine back then -> -> Mother Earth News <-<-

My husband is in charge of keeping the copper bottom pans in shape too ! He learned very young, from his mother. She never put them away with out "shining" them.

Did you know that ketchup on copper can clean it? I leave it on my pots for a while then rinse off. You may need to spot clean some areas.
Your pots are sparkling. Love the stove.
