Totally agree. We used to watch but got tired of he repeats showing almost every day. Unbelievable how much crap people keep and think is worth so much.

What amazes me is no matter how old the old barn is, or how long it has been since someone has ”been in there”, there is never any cobwebs, never. As a country girl who has done more than one old barn clean out, there should be cobwebs.

I was watching them last week and they passed right by a rack of old quilts and never looked toward them I kept saying go back please go back but they never even noticed them. I would have loved to see them unfold them and see all those old quilts.

I used to watch it but it's like every "pick" is the same: someone's (usually someone pretty old) hoarding a ton of old stuff in barns that are falling down and they don't want to part with anything. I like Pawn Stars better especially when the so-called experts come in and look at something.

I love the Pickers, they don't think they are better than everyone else. I also watch shows on HGTV. No one trying to show up anyone else. I don't watch a lot of drama. To each his own.

Would like to find a reasonably priced featherweight in working order.

Can you imagine the ratings jump they would get if they did look at the quilts? I would watch it more.

I agree about cable, but I enjoy a good baseball game.

Has anyone here tried the alternative they keep advertising? Would you lose the live feed of a baseball game?

It seems that I hurry with my work and finally get to sit down to watch and I hit a large string of commercials. Same one over and over. I make a list: I will never buy a ......... because of the dreadful commercials.

Marcia, I'm not sure what you're referring to but we get MLB and that enables us to watch any team we want. We love the Yankees and can't get them in Ohio.
MLB also gives you a choice of the team's channel or the away announcer. The yankees channel is YES so we can watch that one, which is the one we like.

I haven't see the "pickers" show, however, some of the comments here are the same as my thinking. I am attempting to take all negative stuff/people out of my life. Some folks are just plain toxic and who needs it? Life is too short.
