I've seen Gayle's cross stitch Angels, they are beautiful!!! I have patterns but haven't made them yet.

I also like angels, especially ethnically diversed since our family is. We have several African American, Guatemalan and Hawaiian ones. None are of particular worth and I find them where ever I can.

Maybe it is luck, or my guardian angel looking out for it. ;-) But it might be because she painted it completely with the white paint. And that may be it.

I was afraid of bugs too but haven't found any yet. I'm thinking they don't like the paint and glue.?. I've had them in Nebraska and Las Vegas.

I used to have Alyssa out (she was the last to get packed as she is my favorite one)......but was sew afraid she would get broken... sew packed her back up. I have a few of the United Design ones out because they are not nearly as fragile as the Seraphims. I can only hope one day to be able to display them once again. I have gifted several of them to special people ....... and at least they can enjoy them and appreciate their beauty. They are of little use in boxes!

Hope you ENJOY yours .........as they are sewww beautiful!

Wishing you & yours have a Wonderful...Merry Christmas & Angel Blessings to ALL.

I don't collect them, I say "they collect me".
I've seen some that are gorgeous, but for some reason don't buy them. I can walk around a store all day full of angels and not see anything that "strikes my fancy". I can go back to the same store days later and there will be one that the people will tell me that has been there forever, but I am now just noticing it and HAVE TO HAVE IT!

Once on a retreat, we had some free time on Sat. when the gift shop was also open, and there were some Seraphim angels. I selected Ophelia who is sitting with lilies. Later we went to chapel and on the way into the chapel we were each given a silk lily as a symbol of peace. I love connections like this.
