I know of a good one, but it's not free. I consider it cheap compared to getting a virus losing a bunch of data and having to have it cleaned up

We run Microsoft Security Essentials often, Malwarebytes anti malware (the free version) weekly, and Ccleaner (the free version) and clean out all the crud on a daily basis. Haven't had a virus on a laptop or PC since we did switch to Gmail and got off Yahoo too so that may have something to do with it.

It's worth the price for good virus protection. I'm a Norton fan.

Free Avast is great along with running Malwarebytes Free once a week along with Ccleaner is great advice.

Two "help specialists" from Apple recommended malwarebytes.
