It looks like a frosting comb...you use it to make lines or wavy patterns on a cake

This is correct. My aunts used them to go around the cake making it wavy on the sides. If I am wrong then they invented that use for them.

I sold Tupperware in the 80s and never saw it before. But I was thinking it would be a great template for making slippers for your duck.
