Other people have ADD and find FlyLady's way really helpful. But nothing is right for everyone.

I have known about FlyLady for years but not implemented everything. I like the decluttering aspect of it. Dh keeps the house cleaner than a mausoleum. It is the stuff that we accumulate bothers me.

Early last Saturday morning, I was sitting on the bed talking to dh about the fabric washing I had to do when I realized that I could be sorting my sock and under garment drawers while talking. Started sorting, tossing and folding. It took all of 10 minutes to do three small drawers and was able to get rid of a lot of non-sense. The next morning, I did the same thing with the remaining four drawers of the dresser (7 drawer dresser with mirror). Was able to get rid of old long night shirts I had outgrown (not out worn lol). It feels great to accomplish small things like one of the posts stated.

FlyLady works. It is up to you and no one else on how much you want to put forth. I like the emails because it is my quick read (de-stresser) when I am sitting at my desk at work. Also, it is because of FlyLady and Scrapshare that I found out about Dave Ramsey and E-Mealz.

I have followed FlyLady somewhat for about five years. It was a tremendous help when I started decluttering. I get the daily digest but don't read it thoroughly. I have found it difficult to get everything done on my daily list especially in summer when I add the yard work that I need to do. Most of the time I follow "Chore A Day" and I find it more practical to accomplish that than the seeminly endless list from FlyLady. Her holiday cruise missions were very helpful.
