I have the state road condition web site on 'one-click-access' -- won't even open the front door if there is just talk of icy conditions! I am a wuss and admit it!

It was 62 earlier. We just had strong rains/winds with thunder and lightning go through. It was raining so hard the satellite dish couldn't get a signal, but we didn't lose power. They're talking 40s tomorrow with temp dropping and snow overnight with temps in the teens on Thur. Thunderstorms in Jan. in this area are ridiculous! It's been so mild here, I'm scared we're going to get hit really hard later.

We are having tornado warnings and watches tonight. I hate this kind of weather. It's raining and the wind keeps gusting. Possible hail and wind damage. Gonna be a looooooooog night!

We are having typical Minnesota weather. Yesterday we had snow melting off the roof and makiing a veritable swimming pool out of our patio, which necessitated shoveling water instead of snow. Today, 40 mph winds are due. You gotta be a diehard Minnesotan! Iowa is a close second! Edie - I love Iowa!

We missed the ice here in my part of Missouri, but we had 75 degrees on Monday, 2 1/2 inches of rain on Tuesday, and 60 degrees in the morning and today is 30 but no snow here, we missed that. I guess after last year the best news is the rain. We needed it. I really hope we get some more this upcoming month.

The ice and snow went here the last two days. Good, really good news. The bad news is, great blustery winds have now blown my large heavy charcoal grill down for the fourth time this year and not just down, but this time down the hill. It is so heavy I cannot get it back on it's feet if that tells you anything about this wind today. Then tonight or tomorrow, we have been promised more snow. How lucky can you get.

Wow... your not far from my neck of the woods...I live in Antigo...so yup... we had the same issue. Did you see where a Elcho school bus slid in the ditch? Actually a total of three in a 30 mile radius from us did..and they actually had to close Hwy 47 from Neopit to the Langlade county line because it was sooooo horrible that every vehicle that went on that road went into the ditch including a salt truck...that one actually rolled over also. Now today..it is snowing and blowing so bad...a possible 3 to 5 inches today.
