On the same premise as Granny 59 using her rotary cutter to cut TP rolls for her grandson, I wonder how many have noticed that Scott has decreased the width of their rolls by about 1/2 inch? When I recently bought my newest supply (on sale, of course) and loaded the dispenser, something looked strange .... sure enough, the new rolls are shorter! They still contain 1000 sheets, but not-as-wide 1000 sheets!

it's happening with everything. tissues are smaller TP is smaller and in many cases shorter we have gone from 250 per roll to 200 per roll. cadburies have changed their packaging and now the blocks are a little smaller. It is very dissapointing when the prices for everything is going up and the product is getting smaller.
signs of the times I'm afraid.

I think we had this discussion about 3 months ago how everything was getting smaller. Even my lap! LOL Yes, the TP has gotten smaller and the price has gone up. I guess we have to pay for the technicians that changed the settings on the machines.

Yep, smaller. Everything is. Chocolate chips...11 oz. now. Yet the prices keepgoing up and up. Half gallon ice cream??? One and half quarts now. Wondr if these companies workers cut back on their production time what would happen. Would that not be the fair thing to do???
