I'm not sure if I'll watch, but I will be cheering for Dario Franchitti in the 500.

I heard she would be there IF she could drive Cup. But she is not ready for Cup racing yet.

I was reading an article on line that was speculating that next year Danica is going to leave Indy and go full time with JRMotorsports in the Nationwide and part time with Stwart-Haas in the Sprint cup.

DH went before we were married. I am JEALOUS that your family goes. Would like to one year. When I lived in Indy you couldn't see the race unless you left the state. The radio announcers were awesome in describing the events as they unfolded. It was like you could actually see it.

I will be helping my sis-in-law keep food out at our nephew's HS grad party in the afternoon. Family will come when the race is over. Of course, being in central IN, the 500 is not shown on TV. So...we watch it again in the evening. Guess they want to see coverage of all they missed while being there in person! LOL Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Kyle thought he WAS racing last week when he was clocked and ticketed by the cops for going 125 mph in a 45 zone. They should have canned his butt.

I dont watch this one but I agree - you guys have several racing teams that participate here in states and they deserve a win for all their hard work - I know there are one or two Aussies in the Outlaw Sprint Car racing program too

I am wanting Carl also!!! About anyone than Kyle or Jimmy J. lol

have to edit this to say, What is the 600?
The 600 is the Coca Cola 600 which is the NASCAR race that is also run on Memorial Day. Closed wheel as opposed to open wheel racing. I always watch both and there has been drivers that driven in both on the same day. Tony Stewart did it before he committed to NASCAR.

Ryan Hunter-Reay bumped at the last moment, is now running in the 500. He is running for A.J. Foyt. I am glad to see him get a ride. He deserved it.
