Nope...I absolutely do NOT go shopping on Black Friday. Nor do I go 'returning' on Dec. 26th. IMHO people spend way too much and I do not appreciate the commercialism of the season. Yes, we do buy for our children (one adult son and 2 college age daughters) and, actually, probably spend about $500 on each...but, it is for things they need (new boots, new coats, stuff for apts, etc). I have never been one to take off in the wee hours on Black Friday to stand in line to hopefully get the new, hottest item of the season. But...I do know several friends who do and they certainly enjoy it! It is just not for me. Of course, now that I think of it...maybe if I did go on Black Friday, I could whittle that $500 down about 30%! Then I could spend the savings on me. LOL

I do NOT go anywhere on black friday...it's just not worth it to me. I don't like standing in long lines and dealing with crumpy people. Wasn't it last year someone got trampled and killed at Walmart??? I can't remember when that happened. I'm a slow shopper so I'd get in someones way I'm sure. Nothing is worth that hassel.

No, I don't do "Black Fridays" or the day after Christmas shopping. I totally agree with Pam B, that the holidays and other recognized days off, have become totally commercialized and want you to go into debt. We buy gifts, but again, like with Pam, it's items that are needed, not the latest and greatest fashion or games. I wouldn't mind going to JoAnn's, but that's off limits to me by my dh, plus it's 100 miles away.
