I have never made any, but when I googled "how to make shoes for an 18" doll quite a few videos came up. Here is one, the lady speaks quite slowly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGKCqq9L7AU

I stumbled onto the following site, which offers free doll patterns only on Friday: www.pixiefaire.com
Although I haven't made any, I have saved many patterns to start using for my 7-year-old granddaughter who loves American Girl dolls.

My Aunt made & sold Barbie doll clothes as a sideline to her alteration business. She created her own patterns and shared them with me so I used them for our daughter’s dolls and I believe I made some for other little girls’ birthday gifts. I wonder if I still have them ?

Thank you all so much---now I have a good use for lot of my scraps--plus save lots of money, These shoes are expensive and can not always find in the color you need.

You might check with sizzix … I think I saw a die for shoes or sandles last year at Road to California.
