I think I am getting round shouldered slumped over my computer for hours reading messages -- tough work but somebody has to do it!!
Does anyone use the Body-Rite back support from Nancy's Notions -- Is it helpful or is there something else out there that would work better. I need a reminder to sit up straight!

several people here have one from somewhere and say they like it a lot. I've yet to buy one.

one of the ladies at one of the lqs' i know of wears one all the time- for sewing/quilting- and just when she is at work- she swears by it- as having made a huge positive difference in her well-being. she loves it and highly recommends it to anyone who has any complaints-about shoulders or back.

I'm thinking of putting a brick in a small back pack to see if that will work.

I wear a wrap around back brace that's breathable that has a lumbar support cushion built into it. I haven't worn the one that has the straps but I do find a big difference in my back strain if I quilt without it on or not.

have you thought about a bra that has a back support sort of. I haave one from playtex and it helps keep your shoulders back and reminds you to sit up streighter.

I used one of these for several years and liked it. Think you can find them for less money than at Nancy's Notions, though. Try Amazon.
