same here, sewing only makes it worse. But for now I can still sew so that is OK. I deal with the pain when it comes.

Check your set up and see if you are 'goose necking" over your machine. If you are, raise the machine or lower your chair. I use a fit ball instead of a chair which helps me. Stretch every 20 minutes - set a timer to remind you.
Take care

Sounds like it's time for a nap on the heating pad. Hope you feel better.

Well, there IS that problem! Actually, I'm not short...I'm under tall

I'm trying to figure out if it is better to "reach up" a bit at the sewing machine or sit higher and look down. My eyes are so bad I do need the fabric to be as close to my eyes as possible.

New glasses come next week!!! YAY!!!

That means you probably have tight shoulders and muscle tension. There are wonderful exercises to losen things up. I go to the Chiropractor regularly too.

Hope you feel relaxed again real soon.

I've been saying I'm under tall all of my life! Nice to hear it from someone else.

Have you tried one of those microwave rice bags for your neck?

Another idea my doctor told me to try-- roll up a hand towel real tight. Now lay down on the floor and place the towel under your neck and move your body away from the towel just a wee bit so that your head is stretch a little from your body. Lay that way for about 5 minutes. Repeat a few times a day. I've tried it and it works for me. Hope yours feels better soon.

Yikes! Glad you are ok. Get some anti-skid for that tub ASAP!
