Does anybody here have or want Beanie Babies? I have a bunch of them from back when they were the "in" thing. Was just wondering if anybody else on here has a bunch of them and what you are going to do with them... or if anybody might want some and be willing to trade quilting items (fabric, books, magazines, etc.) for them.
Just something to think about.

I gave a box of 45 to the local ladies that do the boxes for the troops...they told us that they give them to the kids over there. Sometimes the kids will tell the troops where the land mines are, I don't know if thats true but it was a good way to use them.

I agree with Linda. I've sent them to soldiers I've "adopted" and they're grateful for them. Any of the soldiers that operate outside of the bases where children are keep them tucked in their pockets so they can hand them out to the kids they meet. Same thing with hard candies.

I thought about my Beanie Babies just the other day, wondering what I could do with them. If someone has an address to send them to the soldiers, would you please post it. I would love to share them with the kids overseas.
