I'm trying to make my first pair of hand knitted socks this winter.
(I figure it'll take me all winter to finish them :-) )
I've been sewing-quilting-crocheting-knitting for years but I've never made socks.
I've re-started 3 times already.
I changed to different size needles, then one sock at a time, then 2 socks at a time. I'm now back to one sock at a time and I'm working cuff to toe. Fun so far.

I do it all to some degree! I have not made socks but always wanted to. It looks so complicated with all the needles and stuff going on. I just know the first regular stitch and have stuck to making scarfs and heating pads from fabric strips.

Well I love Doll houses!! So this year Hubby/I are fix'in it to pass it on to my Gr. daughter for Christmas. 8-) and YES it will have Quilts/sewing machine/ete..

I make jewelry, gift baskets, crochet, paint,gardening until my health would not let me doing any longer. I am now learning to embroidery.

I've sewn it seems like forever: clothes, home accessories, pet beds, you name it. I even made seat covers for my first car way back when. My machine will let me embroider. I like to crochet and cross stitch although my hands complain quite a bit now. I also love to bake and garden. I've never been the kind to just sit and watch TV - I have to be doing something!

I used to make bobbin lace, but my eyes can't handle it any more. Quilting is all I feel like doing these days.

Oh I always wanted to learn bobbin lace but I just don't have time right now. Maybe after I retire in a couple years.
