or she could make a scrappy 9 patch like my mini 9 patch that I posted on line (some of my mini quilts)

also here are a couple of patterns from the quilter's cache that might work - or could be adapted to what she wants

Tilting Four Patch -

Hard Times -

Be sure to let us know what she finally choses - whatever pattern she choses I sure will be beautiful

Thank you for posting pics of Emily and her cards. And I am so glad I was part of this act of kindness for this special little girl. Quilters truely are great friends with big hearts.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the celebration of Emily's Birthday..it has been so much fun! Your pictures were great; felt like we were all there! Your daughter is beautiful and sweet and looks like she was having the time of her life. With so many giving a little bit....look at how much we collectively have given. I am so pleased to have been able to participate. Thank you and God bless your family!

The smile on Emily's face made my day. Now when she learns to quilt, we want to see her quilt from her birthday patches. She is going to have so much fun making her quilt. Happy BD one more time!!!
