Sounds to me like the best time will be had by all. The kids will love being part of your plans and festivities

I have an empty nest also and have to share the kids with their In-laws. But decorating is fun and listening to xmas music every day is great. I sing along and dance too. Hope you all get into the Xmas spirit. Make something every day. I love to bake all day and dh cannot eat too many sweets so we make up packages fro the neighbors. I even took a box to the bank for the tellers. ANything to spread the cheer. I prayer you all get in touch with family that cannot be with you and send tidings of joy. Life is short and we are not promised tomorrow. Make this christmas count. *H*U*G*S*

Merry Christmas to All

I love Christmas Even though the boys are away with their families, I do get to see 2 out of 3 grandkids at sometime during the holidays, but to me the best is putting out the old decorations and remembering who and where they came from. Its a great trip down memory lane. I can always remember something good from past Christmas' and enjoy it again. Merry Christmas to all.

If you think you are sad, think of the children who have no one to love on them and make it your mission to find some of them. Volunteer at an elementary school, church Sunday school, or hospital children's ward. Find out about Big Brothers/Big Sisters. We had a neighbor who became our third Babci, and we included her in all the holidays.
