What is your Christmas cake? It sounds interesting.
It's not that other Christmas Cakes are not good, just that I know there's no question about how much I like mine!! When it's cut, it's quite pretty as it looks kind of like stained glass
because of it's all whole fruit and whole nuts and very little batter.

I have 2 favorites and it is a toss-up as to which is my very, very favorite.
they are: carrot cake & vanilla wafer cake (& that is not the order in which is my favorite. LOL)

ladies want a quick and good cake recipe?

Duncan hines butter cake
duncan hines coconut pecan frosting

mix cake as directions on box, add frosting to batter and mix well, yes the batter. Bake as usual now no need to frost cake it is so moist and good I also do this with lemon cake/frosting and it's yummy
