I got surprised on my 60th. It was the first b-day party I ever had. I have no clue how my DH kept quiet, but on the party day, I was taking off to go to an auction so one of my brothers had to show up early to keep me home longer til everyone could get there.

I understand perfectly why you want to cry. I live on the west coast and my daughter and granddaughter live in NY. Getting together is a once a year thing. I cry with happiness too.

I understand totally. I am in Virginia Beach right now with my oldest son. It has only been six months since I saw him last but I am the kind that would love to see each of their children everyday. I am so committed mto spending as much time as possible with him that I am sitting here in his work room at his shop watching him repair computers. lol
