Attended a memorial service today for a dear quilting friend of 25 years. One of the funny stories about her was told at the reception afterwards. It seems that after she had her gallbladder removed and was ready to go home, her young intern came to see if she had any further questions about her surgery, recovery, etc., before she was released. She grew even more serious and focused on the young intern and said, Yes, I do have one question, Dr. He looked up, eager to answer her question. She said, How soon can I have sex? The very serious intern blushed to the roots of his hair and beat a hasty retreat from the room while she had a good laugh.
