Love both cats and dogs, but have neither at this time.
We are at the age we do good to take care of ourselves (ha!)
and if we can't treat them properly, we won't have them.
Sure enjoy looking at all of yours on this board, kinda pulls at my heartstrings from time to time.

We had a Himalayan several years ago. Beautiful cat...but get
ready to fight the cat hair. We had to brush him about every
day .

I have two labradors, both rescues!! I am a dog person, but somehow had a cat, Sam, who lived to be 20! Loved him, but I think I will stick with just dogs. Of course, dogs and cats together can make a lively home. My daughter does ferral cat rescue in Calif, so she is most certainly cat person.

We just have one dog now but 20 years or so we began with one border collie and a herd of four cats. You've heard of herding cats, well it kept that dog very very busy.

Cat.
Cat.
Cat.
All rescues, one started out feral (you'd never know it now LOL!) My last 4 were also rescues, three of which began feral. Never had better kitties...
