lol...i had a kitty that did the same thing...
even after he fell in he still would stand on the outside and reach a paw under the running water...
it stopped when i got them a drinking fountain...yep spoiled...couldnt have a regular plain old water bowl...had to have one with running water (altho it did clear up his frequent UTI's)

My two cats, Bitty and Willie, also go in the bathroom with me. Bitty likes to drink from the sink faucet and Willie off the shower floor. If Willie happens to get shut out, he rattles the door, cries, and/or shoves his toys underneath the door....anything for attention! Bitty will just sit patiently outside, but occasionally will stick a paw under the door and wiggle it around to remind me that she's waiting for me.

My Maine Coon is a faucet drinker. My one ragdoll, Rhumba a bluepoint mitted, insists on having a dish of water next to the kitchen sink. My other raggie, Tango a seal bicolor, insists on one next to the bathroom sink. This is in addition to the regular water dishes on the floor. Neither of my raggies are faucet drinkers only the MC. The stupid MC plays with the water in the dish on the floor. He scoops his paw in and spills it all over the floor. He is a big goof. I am considering one of those drinkwell fountains.
BTW how did you do at the show back in February?
